Located in the heart of Salzburg, “The Salzburger Hof” is just 2 minutes away from the main train station (Salzburg Hauptbahnhof). A leisurely walk along the Salzach River brings you to Mirabell Palace, and from there it is only a 5-minute walk from the Old Town. You will find a shopping and entertainment centre, as well as bus and tram services and taxi ranks in the immediate vicinity.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. The rooms were
quite large. It had water kettle, tea, coffe, etc. The bathroom and
shower was good, also had had a good hairdryer. Clean. Close to the
train station.

Our room in the annex was very nice but noisy. However, the staff gave
us another room which was very quiet. Not air condition in all rooms and
diffcult to control from the room. Maybe time for a general "facelift"
of the hotel. Maybe a bit expensive for what It was and much further
from the center than we imagined. It's a good 20-25 min walk. But buses
stop close-by so not a big problem

Does not seem like a four star hotel, run down and noisy. But good value
for money. Central as to the railwaystation, but 1.9 km from the

We were able to upgrade from the Annex to the main hotel in order to get air conditioning. As it was very hot in late June, this was a major plus. Access to train station is great! Hotel staff very helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate. It can be difficult finding good lodging for four people (two adults, two teenagers), but this was excellent!

Lovely spacious room in the Annexe - which is just across the road from the main hotel. Nice bathroom with separate toilet. I very much enjoyed the free Mozart/Sound of Music films featuring Salzburg. Restaurant provided good, friendly service with good food for breakfast and dinner.

The hotel was generally too warm with insufficient fresh air even in the public spaces for the summer. Needs efficient/quiet air conditioning + the annex has no means of carrying luggage up the stairs, which is poor for a 4* hotel. And I did not see on your website that there is no lift in the Annex.

Location was very good. We had reserved a triple room and got a quadruple one - that was a positive surprise.

Air conditioning should be included in price. There was an additional fee for air conditioning.

There was very much room in our quadruple room.

More parking places could be good. Noise of the traffic disturbed sleeping at night. The air-condition didn't include to the price of the room (they charged 5 euros/ night).
