The Hotel Ananas is the ideal starting point for your stay in Vienna and is a perfect place to spend your holidays or your business trip. The historical city centre is no more than five minutes away and the underground will get you there in no time.

Food & beverage

Power breakfast:
Start your day with a marvellous breakfast from the ample buffet. If you are a hotel guest, the hotel are happy to invite your business partner for breakfast; that is how a successful day can start.

Café - Bar "Johann Strauss":
Have a seat in the café-bar, named after the famous musician "Johann Strauss", and enjoy typical Viennese coffee house culture and wonderful sweets. Each day all pastries are freshly made in the hotel's own patisserie. Tempting and daily from 08.30 to 02.00.

The daily Happy Hour is from 21:00 to 22:00, here you can enjoy two of the same cocktails for the price of one. Another option for a relaxed evening is to have a glass of wine from one of Austria's well known vineyards.

Restaurant "Zum Moser":
In 1880, the former "Braunen Bären Haus" was the birth place of the famous Austrian actor Hans Moser. The restaurant "Zum Moser" offers specialties from Vienna, including the legendary Tafelspitz, which was the favourite dish of the emperor Franz Josef.

They say its a 4.star hotel, when clearly its not. When we checked in,
the gave us two very small rooms without airconditions and with a
doublebed, even though we requested a twinroom. After complainig we got
other rooms, but we were woken up three times in the morning by the
cleaning staff, who entered the room without even knocking on the door.
The people in the reception were untrained and rude

Conveniently located very close to U4 stop and accessible to all Vienna hotspots in short distances

The bathrooms are not ventilated, no control on the AirConditioning it switches on automatically and is noisy during the night, the picture on the site does not reflect the actual room.

Till now I am waiting return of 69eur, because a hotel charged me
double, I.E. I did reservation at your web site and confirmed my Visa
Card. However I wished to pay by cash and did so at my arrival day
(19/07/08) in the hotel reception. Therefore they promised will not take
from my Visa Card. However according to my account info, the hotel
charged me double. I hope they solve this issue A.S.ap.

The room was too small, i.e. there was not enough space, the bed was not big enough for 2 persons, the furniture was too old for the price and the stars the hotel offered.

Nothing except its location. The hotel doesnot warrant a 4 star rating. I know that there was a heat wave when we were there but to have to use a fan to be able to sleep is ridiculous in a 4 star hotel

See above I did not read any of the reviews as we were previoulsy booked there by a travel agent and I booked on this basis,. I have since informed the agent that I do not think it in their best interest to use the hotel again and had I not pre paid we would not have had a second stay there.There was no porter service and no soap in the bathrooms. Also the showers had a great deal of mould

convenient location easy to get to major sites but quiet and slightly calm

they jacked up their price because of the eurocup and would not let me out of my reservation i thought this was unfair when i complained to the mgr he said oh well

Very clean, very comfortable bed, big wide-screen tv, stylish without being over-designed.

The description of being right opposite the naschmarket was alittle exaggerated !!!

We enjoyed it, and the closeness to U-bahn was the major advantage. Expensive breakfast.

Small bugs in the room. To much noice from the poor functioning air condition that was not able to cool the room satisfactory.

I slept well and the shower was nice. Great for a weekend trip!

Matress was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise I liked the room very well. It was also very convenient to the subway.
