The staff could not do enough to ensure our stay was a happy one. The location was perfect which meant we could walk around St Gilgen at ease. |

The owners of the lovely hotel make your visit very nice. It is like staying at a B & B in regards as to how you are treated. It is a little ways away from the city of Salzburg and that was our main purpose of travel in the area, but after staying there a few nights we realized that was not that bad. The little city around the hotel had great restaurants within walking distance and it was very quiet at night after being in the hubbub of the city all day. |

We liked the family feel to the hotel, it felt like you were sharing someone's home with them which was very nice. Small point but the decor could do with some updating. |

The breakfast was excelent, both in quantity and quality. The hotel stuff is very kind. The room did not provide the feel of cleanliness. And it was noisy (probably the old door did not close properly), we could not sleep well. |

The welcome and personal service at the hotel is outstanding. Brilliant location in the heart of St Gilgen, a real pleasure to stay there. Entrance from the road narrow and easy to miss. A sign for the hotel on the main road would be very helpful. |
