A small, exclusive hotel with personal flair. It consists of two buildings, Altstadthotel and the Residenz, located opposite each other in a quiet side street of the city’s pedestrian area.

It is just a few minutes walk to Mirabell Palace and Mozart’s Residence. You can leave your car in the garage as all of the city’s sights are within walking distance. For example the cathedral or the fortress, Mozart’s birthplace and the new Congress Hall.

The hotel’s team at the reception are happy to assist you in booking concert or theatre tickets. The internet terminal in the foyer is free of charge for hotel guests as well as the hire of DVDs. You can also relax in our tastefully decorated sitting room.

The spa, with it‘s warm colours and simple design, is ideal for relaxation. This compact leisure area comes complete with swimming pool, Finnish sauna, infra-red cubicle and an attractive 'silence' room with couches for relaxation after the sauna. We also suggest you take advantage of our massages.

Hotel information

This is a small exclusive hotel with personal flair, consisting of the 2 Altstadthotel and Residenz buildings, located opposite each other in a quiet side street of the city’s pedestrian area. Just leave your car in the garage, as all of city’s sights are within walking distance.

Please note that the Residenz building has no lift. There is a new hotel spa with indoor swimming pool, sauna, infra-red cubicle and massage. There is free DVD rental and a free internet terminal, as well as free wireless LAN internet access in the public areas.

Food & beverage

Start your day with an excellent breakfast buffet, made from the region's organic produce. In the afternoon and evening tea and coffee can be served, as well as small snacks in the lounge. Later, enjoy a cocktail or cool beer from the hotel bar (open until 12pm).

Room information

All our rooms are comfortably furnished and are equipped with all the modern amenities. DVDs (also for children) are available at the reception free of charge. There is a lift in the main building only. Rate includes the use of the indoor pool area with sauna.

One child up to the age of 12 stays in parents room (double or triple) free of charge.

Staff were excellent and all spoke perfect English which was a lovely bonus. Breakfast offered a generous selection and it was a nice touch offering tea \ coffee and cake each afternoon.

No lift in the section over the road and garage was a bit of a walk away.

good location. staff were helpful in fixing the misunderstanding on the lift issue which was caused by the booking.com website

1. offsite parking with an expensive extra charge. 2. the room had a very strong odor, which was sorted after leaving the windows open for sevral hours

Great location, easy walking distance into town. Paid parking of 13.00euro pd a couple of streets away but in a private parking house. It's a close and safe 5 minute walk into the old town. The children loved the pool and free dvd viewing. The reception staff were most friendly, informative and helpful

The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was, beyond doubt, the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in. I would not choose this hotel again. I swear they pick up garbage every morning at 3am. One hears loud voices, smells smoke from the casino next door. Yuck!

Using the SPA, easy access of internet, having bowel of fruit around, afternoon tea and cakes! (Cake can be improved)

Car parking is not on site, but wasn't too bad, No elevator to get your liggage up was a bit difficult.

The facilities such as the spa and the extremely helpful staff. It is also very well located - everything is in walking distance. It is important however not to confuse it with the Hotel Wolf!! Also nice touches are the free afternoon coffee and cake and the free videos and dvd in each room.

Having to walk up 3 flights of stairs with suitcases and a child in tow. There are 2 hotels, with one reception and if you are not in the main building, its not good. Also, there are no coffee making facilities and the bathroom soaps etc were not replaced.

Friendliness of staff; cleanliness of hotel.

No changing facilities at the swimming pool. Our room was in the block opposite the main hotel, so we didn't want to change in our room and walk across the street in our costumes.
