The Raschhofer family has been running this elegant hotel for three generations and their hospitality and dedication are your guarantee of a pleasant stay. Quality and tasteful design can be found in all areas of the Hotel.
The Auersperg's special features are its quiet, romantic gardens and its rooftop sun terrace with a marvelous view over the city. The "Villa Auersperg" is located right next to the Hotel- all Hotel facilities are also available to our guests from the Villa.

The following is included in your room rate;

The hotel is unfortunately unsuitable for disabled guests. There is a lift in the main hotel, but not in the adjacent Villa.

Buffet breakfast until 11 am in our garden breakfast-room with terrace.

Cafe & Bar :Open from 11 am until midnight. The bar offers small dishes and snacks, various sandwiches are served cold or warm

Room information

The hotel has a total of 51 guest rooms, including 32 rooms in the main 'Hotel Auersperg' building and 19 rooms in the annex 'Villa Auersperg'. The latter building has 3 floors, with no lift.

Double rooms and Superior rooms are located in the hotel. Double rooms Villa are located in the Villa. Guests in the villa have complete access to all of the facilities available at the hotel.

All rooms contain a private bathroom, hairdryer, satellite TV, radio, direct dial telephone, safe, and fridge (Hotel rooms only) and a VCR or DVD.

Non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Area information

Centrally but quiet situated at the beginning
of the pedestrian-zone "Linzergasse", only a few minutes walking distance to the Mirabell Gardens and the historical Old Town.

Convenient situated close to the city centre, yet in a quite location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms adequate and very clean. Outside terrace would have been very nice had the weather been better during our stay.

Helpful reception staff, fresh, bright decor, lovely breakfast room and terrace. Good breakfast. Gorgeous bath products, and fudge. Quiet location, well signposted. Good parking facilities. Bedroom comfortable.

Confused by two bathrooms! Beds a little hard for our taste.

The resteraunt garden was wonderful. The hotel having the tour buses pick is up was a great bonus.

The couch in out room was very uncomfertable.

wonderful sauna, very kind barman!!!

girl in the reception was very unkind, rooms not so perfect as on photo! No air condition in hotel for 170 EUR per day!!!

Clean room, nice view and friendly staff.

The coffee - especially the coffee from the bar. Should have told us abt. the nice display of brochures (sightseeing etc) on the ground floor. Discovered it just before leaving the hotel.

breakfast was great, free wifi, helpfull staffs and free private car park.

Dont have aircondition, we have to open the windows and noise from street came into the room but it was OK for us.

nice that they had bikes available at no charge

listed as being a short walk from Old Town...it was at least 15 minutes. They were rebuilding the room next to us and started at 7a.m. I complained later that day and they made sure the men started after 10am (very responsive even though they did wreck one morning's sleep)

The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble - they had put champagne and strawberries in my room as a birthday gift- the room was spotless and comfortable-

That we could check in sitting down opposite the desk clerk. That seemed a very friendly way to check in.

When we ordered a dessert in the bar, it took an extremely long time to be served.
